A contact is a single scheduled antenna pass session — one AOS-to-LOS window at one station. A 10-minute pass over Zenith Station Alpha = one contact. If your spacecraft is visible to two stations simultaneously and you schedule both, that is two contacts. Weather-related shortened contacts (<50% of scheduled duration) are eligible for credit — see question below.
Mission Starter and Constellation tiers are billed monthly with no lock-in. You can upgrade at any time — the higher tier takes effect immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the start of the next billing month. Contact us to upgrade to Custom Network at any time.
If a contact is terminated early due to conditions attributable to our infrastructure (hardware fault, RF interference from our side), we issue a credit for that contact. Weather-related Ka-band fade events that result in less than 50% of scheduled contact duration are eligible for a 50% credit. We document all contact-quality metrics in the post-contact report available via the API.
Mission Starter has no minimum commitment — pay per contact, cancel anytime. Constellation is billed monthly (10-contact bundle), no annual contract required. Custom Network terms are negotiated individually and typically involve a 3–12 month service agreement, reflecting the dedicated resource allocation involved.
We accept ACH bank transfer and wire transfer for all commercial operators. Credit card is available for Mission Starter tier. Invoicing on net-30 terms is available for Constellation and Custom Network customers. All pricing is in USD.
